Since I have a junior college degree, I started an internship in my junior year, and I did an internship in an employment unit recommended by the school, which is an e-commerce company.
The internship period is a bit tricky, and the internship email list salary is very low. Because the school and the enterprise cooperate with each other, students become cheap labor. Fortunately, they have learned a little bit of fur knowledge of e-commerce operation during the work process, which has laid the foundation for future work.
After graduating in 2021, I officially entered the workplace. After graduating from a business English major, I entered a small and medium-sized company mainly engaged in cross-border e-commerce business. I just started to join the company. With my naturally optimistic and positive attitude, and I believe that I can do a good job, the company as a whole meets my expectations. The overall atmosphere of the company is quite good. There is afternoon tea every day, even if it is a single-off work. , I can also accept.
After working for more than half a year for nearly a year, I have basically mastered the basic structure of cross-border e-commerce operation. I am mainly responsible for handling platform after-sales issues, handling account issues, and contacting customers and other basic tasks.
But the boss's management became wider and wider and more and more depressing. The stress at work and physical and mental fatigue made me miss school life immensely.
Through observation during her work, Xiaohui found that her company has the following drawbacks:
1) No job security
It is difficult to become a long-term employee in a private company. You may change units every few years. Unless the boss really appreciates you and values you, it is difficult to work in the same private company for a long time.
"Some time ago, a new colleague came to our company. It was a boy. Because he was lying on his side during the lunch break, the boss thought it was not good, and he was called away by the boss within a few days." Huang Xiaohui said.
2) Welfare is not guaranteed
The welfare protection of private enterprises is not comprehensive, and it may be that the basic five insurances and one housing fund are not available to you. This is a very unacceptable point for many college students.
3) Competition is fierce
The employees in private companies are more capable, and the competition between them is more intense. Therefore, if there is no major performance in private companies, it is still difficult to be promoted.
Our commission threshold is quite high in the industry, but on the contrary, the commission point is very low. After the salary increase is turned into a positive, a salary adjustment is made once a year. The salary increase is only 300-500, and the salary increase needs to be approved by the boss.
Of course, it's not that I haven't thought about changing the status quo, but in the current environment, I'm in a very embarrassing situation with low competitiveness. I want to find a better platform to change jobs, but I'm still young, what's easier said than done?
Xiaohui said, "Since you can't change others, try to change yourself. If you think there is a prospect for development in one place, try to move in that direction; if not, quickly ride a donkey to find a horse, and don't put your eggs in the same basket. Here, try to find a job that really suits you.”
Xiaohui believes that compared with the impersonal workplace, the school is easier to get along with.
Because in school, interpersonal relationships are relatively simple and do not involve interests, the society is mixed and the competition is fierce, and it seems that there is only interest between people.
I have no worries at school, and I have a fixed monthly living allowance. Although it is not much, it is enough. I can enjoy campus life with my classmates and friends. I miss it very much, but I will never go back.
